I am a talk show host and I am pretty new to the game. I have seen many people come and go who are not sure that they really want to do this job. I love it because I am always interviewing interesting people and they are doing some wild things. The other day I was preparing to interview a little boy, who loved collecting. In fact he has collected 1st Generationa IPHONE memorabilia and for some reason he has all types of IPHONE cases and other accessories. He has shown his collection at his local state fair and quite frankly, I wonder why he is collecting these things. He was scheduled on my show because we had a filler situation where we had someone cancel and this little boy was available. When he came out on stage I greeted him as I usually do and we started talking about his collection. We had a great talk about why he collects these things and he showed me several IPHONEs some of them from the very early days. As I picked up one from the table one of the IPHONEs slipped from my hand and it broke on the floor; I hoped I wasn’t headed for 1st Gen IPHONE repair. It was a good thing it wasn't one of those rare ones! With the whole nation watching I assured the young fellow that he would have his IPHONE back and that we would send it to an IPHONE repair company. If it didn't get repaired we would definitely buy him a new one; he informed me he didn't want a new one he wanted the one he brought on the show. I had one of my assistants check around for an IPHONE repair company and she found one on the Internet. We rushed the IPHONE into the company and we set it to go to the child's address when it was completed. Within a short time the little fellow had his IPHONE repaired and we had peace of mind. This was a major event for him and it was something that we could have helped him with by getting a new one if necessary. The IPHONE repair company we chose had great customer service and a very pleasant people. They sent the IPHONE back very quickly and they didn't charge us a lot even though they knew we were a corporation. They respected the fact that this little boy needed his IPHONE. | |
