My Moment in Nature
I have to admit that I am not a very big nature and outdoors type person because I truly crave the city life. I spent a decade living in New York City itself, and I still love busy streets, the sounds of traffic, and the convenience of walking to local shops. Right now, I live in a neighborhood area that has a huge park behind it where people always jog or walk their dogs. I actually don't even have a dog because of my previous life living in a big city, so, of course, I have a cat because that is always more conducive to cramped apartment living.I did decide to try to jump on board with the nature lifestyle by grabbing my iPod and going for a brisk walk outdoors. At first, I was really hating the idea of walking with absolutely no destination like Starbucks, the grocery store, or a clothing store, but I soon began to relax and enjoy my time. I had downloaded a mellow playlist for my iPod so that I could enjoy the scenery of nature and feel refreshed, and I have to say that I really do think that it was working. There may be a next time...
