iPod nano-Related Article Nursing is a profession that I have loved since I was a child. It was something my aunt did and she always had stories that made the profession sound so interesting. As an adult I never lost my interest in nursing so I decided to go for it. Most people have certain ideas about male nurses that aren't always true. I am a happily married man with two children who I love dearly. My wife also works as a nurse so we both know what it is like to go through a week without seeing each other sometimes. I work in the ER because it is a fascinating place to be with all the action. I don't like sitting around or working at a desk all the time so the ER gives me plenty to do -- especially during a full moon. Most people don't know that being a nurse takes a lot of patience. When people come into the emergency room they are always hurt - they are either feeling sick or they have a wound. Both of these situations tend to make them cranky and sometimes obnoxious. The other day I was talking to a colleague of mine who is an x-ray tech. He was walking on a series of x-rays and it is always such a quiet job. The patient comes in, you give them the x-rays that the doctor has prescribed and you move forward from that point. This day my colleague actually did something that normally would not have happened. He was working with the x-ray machine and somehow he got his iPod nano stuck between the customer he was talking with and the x-ray machine. As he put on the power he x-rayed her and his nano iPod -- which meant he would need to use the services of an iPod nano repair company. He was upset because it wouldn’t work. I assured him that it probably could be fixed because there are many situations that nano iPod owners get themselves and most do not mean a brand new iPod nano. I suggested going onto the Internet and checking for a reliable iPod repair service. He listened and found a couple of places that said they could fix it. He sent is iPod nano off and he received it back from the iPod repair company rather quickly. As I said, nursing can be a very interesting profession and you find out that you have more skills and more knowledge than you ever thought possible. | |
