Therapists have a lot in common with many other people who work with people, but they are not always understood. Many choose a specialty area like I did because they find it easier to work within a certain parameter. I enjoy working with children because they are so impressionable and open to healing. One of my favorite therapists worked with sand tray therapy and this is now one of my specialties. Children love coming into the office to play because they do not really know that they are working on, healing at the same time.
